Great Ames Adventure Race (GAAR)

To benefit the Lincoln Way Chapter of the American Red Cross

WHEN?
Sunday, June 10, 2007. Race starts at 7:30 a.m.

WHERE?
GAAR will start and finish at Ada Hayden Heritage Park in North Ames.

WHAT?
The Course starts with a 3 mile (4.83K) canoe race, followed by a 15 mile (24.14K) bike ride and finishes with a 5K (3.1 mile) run.

WHO?
Teams or individuals interested in the challenge of an adventure race. Family and friends are invited to watch and participate in other race day festivities.

WHY?
Proceeds from GAAR will benefit local disaster Preparedness & Relief, Health & Safety Education and Emergency Armed Forces communication.
