Our Red Cross chapter trained disaster volunteers work in "on-call" teams available at all times in our three county jurisdictions. They are committed to respond to fires, storm damage, floods and other disasters. Disaster volunteers are trained to assist clients with food, shelter, clothing, as well as other disaster caused needs. The goal of a disaster response is to meet the immediate needs of our clients. We are a part of a state and nation wide support system in which we aid other chapters with specially trained volunteers.
